Chasing rares is not fun, if it was, D3 Vanilla itemization would not have been revamped entirely in RoS based on player feedback. Uniques not replacing rares means they are bad.

Most uniques should be "Good rolled rares" so that players can actually find items and get gear progression - Diablo2 realized this over 20 years ago. Diablo2 uniques are how uniques should be, not POE's.

Getting good rolled rares is winning the lotto 18 times in a row while being struck by lightning. By making rares what you chase, and uniques not replacing them, you ensure your game has terrible progression for anyone not trading.

It is much easier to just slap in uniques with very good rolls that replace most rares like D2 then, as then players can actually progress their character and find upgrades.

No... Uniques in POE willl never be replacements for amazing Rares. You need to fix your preconceptions on what a Unique is. This is not Diablo.

To the people that says it's the best autobattler, Mechabellum is better imo and costs only a fraction of the price.

Don't reload and swap weapons from the inventory. Problem solved.

Sometimes I just want to try some odd builds to see if they can handle some low rank games, or just want to play some fun builds. Obviously, if I freely build in regular mode, people should blame me

You are correct that the game doesn't have to do anything. The creators of the game have freedom to do what they want with the game. The game does two things: it conveys vague mistrust in institutions indiscriminately and obtusely, and it makes a direct attack on the core theology. Neither of which really has any place in a kids game, subliminally. You are free to defend those actions or to disagree here.

LMAO 5 years ago we were starting to get upset at the game because content and release had already been delayed by quite a lot - are you telling me that they still haven't finished it in 2025? Dayum, Last Epoch really makes Star Citizen look like a solid investment to rely on for retirement. Totally not scummy/scammy.

Honestly that´s how it felt. If I had realized that before the 2 hours mark I would have refunded. They never mentioned that in the description anywhere. I know not everyone cares about the campaign that much but the game is literally unfinished....

You're playing the Navesgane map I suspect ? Yep the game is horrible for new players at the moment. You play the default map and it punishes you by sending you off on horrible quests that are miles away. Experienced players don't play Navesgane, unless they are masochists. The only consolation is that the trader will give you a bicycle once you've completed a bunch of tier 1 quests (I promise I am not making this up). If you get that far, take the bike, do not be distracted by ammo or whatever else he offers. When ya see the bike as a reward, take it. It'll make life sooo much easier.

The common theory is that Navesgane is linked to a story mode (unreleased atm) and that's why the distances between stuff are bad. And extra bad for a new player.

So. Top tip don't play Navesgane. Play a pre gen map instead. Hopefully someone will contribute and recommend a good one. I generate my own custom maps so can't advise.

Oh. Maybe you just got unlucky with the generation. Maybe try smaller map with maximum wilderness pois and maximum towns/cities. Also lose the mountains and craters so they can't create big obstacles between pois.

I just generated a big city map. You have to edit the rng mixer file a bit. There are some tutes on youtube. But once you find the trader, all quests are inside the city and close by. Sop no longs quests until "go to the burnt zone and collect mushrooms"
