Just a quick question for curiosity's sake. I often enslave Yttakin because their skills don't tend to lean towards things I'm interested in. But I also usually remove slaves tongues because I don't want them romancing my colonists. Do they still retain their animal warcall ability without the ability to speak?

I can't believe people think if a game doesn't instantly have a patch it's "abandoned." Just wait a few months for the patch, and then buy it. Savvy Steam users have been doing that for years.

Is it honestly that difficult for you to imagine that people feel this when the company is completely radio silent?

As a comparison, the folk who released the Demon Stone re-release very recently have actually communicated regarding people who are having issues and requested specific files to be sent to them in order to look into those issues. There are still a few people seeing issues, but the people experiencing them understand that it's being looked at.

A simple "we are working on a patch" announcement, tweet, bluesky post, whatever format they'd prefer would alleviate concern for people. Beamdog was very transparent and good about this thing with NWN1 EE, so the sequel's EE having not simply less communication but exactly zero communication from the devs is obviously going to be worrying.

Oh, yeah, this isn't getting the NWN 1 treatment. They went above and beyond. And I say that, and I am actually not a fan of the game itself. However, I put a ton of hours into the modules because of Beamdog's efforts to keep the game polished.

Turn ray tracing off, it worked for me.

It just speeds up the currently playing dialog. It gets you through the conversation quicker. It works, but isn't an actual factual end dialog.

Having the same problem. The game is completely unplayable after the patch.

There is a known hardware problem with 13th and 14th generation i9s running on motherboards using z790 BIOS. You should be able to look up your computer maker's spec page to see what you have inside your machine.
