I didn't say you had to be good, I was thinking that with a reputation system you could also be essentially a mob boss if you want or a mysterious cryptid. You can still dominate everything, it just wouldn't be the only option. Plus it doesn't really feel like you are in charge once you defeat the bosses.

bright colors explosions and flashy neon lights is literally Borderlands from start to finish if it had realistic color coding it wouldn't be borderlands it would be the game "Rage"

Won't be a big loss when the timelines devs moves to discord crap and reduces the scope of their feedback to a handful of sycophantic customers, each with their own agenda on the direction they want to manipulate the devs into.
