I'm new to the Metal Gear series as I never had Playstations growing up. I recently watched a very long lore video about the series and it looked pretty interesting, and seeing as how the fifth game is the first chronologically, this remaster could potentially be my starting point.

No, you can still get Blueprints from boosting Reputation. I.e. Resolve, glade events, etc. You actually don't get blueprints directly from Order per se (usually, with the rare order reward that gives you one), you get them from the reputation boost that the Orders give.

They are not going to be sued and there is still no law, it was an executive order that could potentially become law, but it more closely relates to debanking and it was done by Trump mostly to protect his ppl from getting into trouble for political reasons, however it can still be something to give trouble to CC companies in terms of paperwork and demonstrating they have a cause.

Basically, game is trying too hard to be ultra realistic that it forgets common sense?

The knowledge about the crew is tied to the character who learned them, so for example your main character. If you switch to another crew, it will know nothing. That might be the issue you have experienced.

In case of my apparent issue, the option was rightly not available, because I had to low autonomy. What is probably buggy is that it kept appearing for a 1-2 seconds and then disappearing, confusing me.
