I totally understand that online multiplayer is where the fun is but one thing I don't understand is this:
Why on earth would anyone even want to go online before they know that particular track like the back of their hand? The brake points, the racing line, the apexes.

I approach it a bit differently. I practice my ass off until I can produce laps that are at least a little bit competitive; and then I go online.



You don't mess up because you've already been practicing offline preparing for this very scenario.
And if you do blow it, so what? You'll have other chances in future races

I really hope Fallout 76 isn't the only fallout game you've played. If you are even slightly interested in the great war in the FO universe then play a better fallout game for god sake.

I thought the same way, for a while. But then people who do know a "so-and-so" would say something that's the complete opposite of how you saw that person in private DMs.

So whose eyes are lying and whose eyes are telling truths here? This was not intended towards you at all BTW, I'm only mentioning this because of past experiences I saw.

I’m sharing my situation in hopes of getting some advice about a VAC ban I recently received on my CS2 account. I’ve been a legitimate player for years. I’ve never used cheats, hacks, or any unauthorized software in CS2 or any other game on Steam.

I’ve always committed to fair play. I’ve played clean, respected the rules, and maintained a spotless record. This ban came out of nowhere. I suspect it may be due to a false Overwatch report or a detection error. I’ve already submitted a formal appeal to Steam Support, including evidence like match history, scoreboards, and account details to show my consistent and legitimate gameplay.

I’m not here to argue or place blame; I just want to stand up for my integrity as a player. I truly hope Steam takes a closer look.

If anyone else has faced a similar situation or has advice on how to proceed, I’d appreciate your input.

And for anyone who thinks "high fov is unfair", 120 degrees is literally still only 1/3 of the area around you. At 120 degrees you cannot see someone directly to your left or right; that would require 90 towards each side; 180 FOV.

Unless EVERYONE can set it to 120, 120 IS an unfair advantage.
It's 33% more than 90 can see.

Your whole thing about "you can't see someone directly to your left or right" is absolutely pointless because 120 is still 33% more than 90, so unless everyone is at 120, it's unfair. Period.

I mean it's to be expected that a game that's first and foremost build around being a SP-experience to have less players on the MP-side. I don't really see how throwing a tantrum over people's meaning of life not being centred around your enjoyment in a game somehow being the devs fault. But feel free to sue them over it.

Otherwise check out iRacing, which has the best way to deal with dirty drivers, though don't be surprised about how much that service costs.
