Great, I have installed some mods, particularly focus on differentiating the hitting sound, while hitting the armour part, it will have that crisp sound, while on human body part got the slash sound

It's hard to answer definitively because it's unclear if by 'weapon overhaul' you mean mods that just change how weapons look, or mods that change how weapons work, damage done etc.

There's are about fifty trillion mods that add new weapons to the game, but the choice is so vast if can be completely overwhelming. I use none of them myself - because default game, plus all the extra stuff added by the Legendary Edition already gives me more choice than I'll ever really need. As far as I'm concerned the good old Dragonbone weapons still outperform most everything and are all I really need for end game combat.

Some notes on 'safe' mod installation.

In general and ideally it's never a good idea to uninstall mods mid-game, but this is real life, and there may be times when you have to.

So if you're ever going to install a mod mid game and just want to try it out then it's good practice to do the following:

Go to the folder where your saved games are stored - typically "Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition"

Make a copy of the Save folder onto your Windows Desktop or any other safe folder.

Launch Skyrim

Go to a safe interior location, such as an inn, dungeon, cabin etc.

Make a hard save (Escape menu, Settings, Save)

Exit the interior location.

Quicksave.

Quit Skyrim.

Load up Nexus Mod Manager and install the mod correctly.

Launch the game and test the mod.

If it's no good, or not what you want you can usually undo things by uninstalling the mod on Nexus, and then loading up the hard save you made in the interior space. Because this save file doesn't contain the new mod information it usually works.

If, for any reason, you are screwed, the game still crashes or whatever then delete your entire save folder, and then copy in the backup of your save folder you made. 98% of the time you'll have no issues - but for that unlucky 2% when you still do (as happened to me last week when testing out a mod that completely screwed my entire game, even after doing all the above) your only choice is to do a complete game uninstall, complete mod uninstall, hard delete the folder in Documents, and then re-install everything again from scratch.



Finally - and continuing the theme of keeping things light to begin with and not overwhelming yourself by installing too much at once, here are two mods that I consider pretty-much essential in my games - Enhanced Lights and FX, which overhauls Skyrim's rather plain lighting and makes things far more dynamic, along with adding realistic smoke and flames to fire and candles and Skyrim Flora overhaul which dynamically expands the plants and shrubs in the world, and makes it feel far more alive.

I also use some grass mods to provide more realistic grasslands with long grass - but stick with these two for now.

For some reason, celeste crashes and then my notebook opens with the error that I don't have enough memory, even though I have 270 GB on my disk. Can you help with this?

Constant crashing and freezing for 2-10 seconds at a time with most recent patch. Game audio all over the place, sounds distorted. Restarting has not fixed. Host game freeze causes everyone to freeze. Others freezing causes them to be dropped from the match. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess...
