One of the risks that we accept as beta testers is that a beta/experimental build, an "Unstable" build if you will, may break completely after an update or hotfix. The typical solution is to verify files or performing a clean reinstall.

Mods added to a beta build are even more at risk and especially so if there are dependencies on a now-obsolete build of the game, or if a basal mod has been updated but the "children" have yet to be updated as well.

Don't be surprised when, and not "if," this happens again.

Everytime I try to play Sims 4 it installs the ea app and then a window opens which says "Something went wrong The EA app encountered an error and couldn't finish installing (error code: INST-3-1920)>"
