They're not exactly wrong, though. While not a bad game by any means, BZ pales in comparison to the original in just about every worthwhile metric.

When you're opining on something as if you've played it when in fact you have not, yes, they are wrong. Their argument was BZ "was a joke compared to the first one" and they haven't even played BZ.

Pales in comparison and game was a joke I'm glad founders are gone are not exactly making the same argument. And, to be clear I also think BZ wasn't as good as the first but that has to do with cheer leading a hostile takeover of UWE I really don't see.

Is there some reason machines don't just automatically turn on when you tell them to do something and then automatically turn off when you done? What's the point of making the player turn them on and off manually?

Heyo! Been loving getting back into wolf quest since i first played it in secondary school with friends, a lot of great tweaks have been made (especially graphically), but the gameplay loop is still there.

I love watching challenge runs of other games, and with the amount woof is used it got me thinking - Would an ironwoof (deathless, no woofing) run be possible? Start run fresh into the game as dispersal, end run at either first litter, old age death, or first pup dispersal (i like first pup dispersal best personally, it requires atleast one pup to thrive. 8+ years is a bit much)

A no gestures/languageless (no gestures/howling, i think an exception would need to be made for mating stage?) would be a way to amp the challenge up to a 1000, but even if only one pup needed to live, woofing alone is just so critical to all things pack management.

maybe inheriting a pack would be the only way to route it? it'd involve killing a pack leader and trying to court the remaining leader in dispersal, which on iron wolf could be a cool start to the run.

On sickness, im torn. woofing is essentially pack/pup management, and woofing sick puppies in time/helping puppies who are stuck in the open is a big part of the loop. maybe sickness off would be best for consistency/no RNG runs, or maybe the rule would be pup deaths only due to sickness? depends on whether or not you need to do ironwoof/woofless with no pup deaths or not.

( yes i am so tired of spamming woof. Also, im aware its possible to just let all the pups die every year and get to old age that way, this is more about can you be a 'successful' wolf without woofing )

No but actually seriously……if the Fromsoft community was made of savvy consumers, the amount of complaints on the forum would dwindle. Not that the game DOESNT have issues, but the people consistently posting here 24/7 for reactionary reasons 100% have miserable lives.

I can’t imagine a more pathetic life than complaining about video games of all things.
