I'd absolutely love this. HD1 had this, so many moments of "friend gets downed, everyone works together to save them". I'd even take it if it was like a booster, less lives, but you get a downed state. Just so many of the stupid deaths in this game would be a lot more tolerable. Like getting stuck on invisible nothing, or getting zapped by someones arc dog because they're insufferable.

third it clashes with the tone of the game in too many ways. Helldivers for better or for worse tries to play things somewhat realistically, outside of Democracy Protects you aren't surviving a point blank explosion or a Bile Titan stomping on you for example.

Insantly dying to a shot to the toe tells me it's not realism, it's just that divers are made of glass and will die if anyone as much as looks at them funny.

I did say somewhat realistic rather than totally realistic, as in bullets are very lethal and most incapacitating injuries you see in the game aren't things you could walk away from without emergency medical attention you will not receive. it's mostly the edge cases that never come up organically (like shooting people in the toe) that feel completely bonkers. even a shot to the leg or arm has a chance at hitting an artery and putting you in the ground VERY quickly irl.

i feel like everytime you guys update the game it gets buggier. so many matches where all but one is dead but the augments screen doesnt pop up

• Main Ops: Saturday 7:00 PM EST.
  
• Training & Fun Ops: Depends on the availability on the zeuses and leadership.

• Age: 16/17 year olds may join, but will be placed under a probationary status.
  
• Discord: Active participation isn't required as we understand that most people hangout in other discords with their friends.
  
• Attendance: Fill out LOA if you can’t make it as we understand that life comes first and this is just a game.
  
• Respect: No toxic behavior, drama, or harassment.

This map is ridiculously unnecessarily big, cut the size in half remove alot of the pointless open area, spending 10-15mins running around is forsaken boring as hell
Time to Kill (TTK) is fast in this game, so having majority of your game driving, running around ruins the experience.

It's not even as good as CoD. It feels like they stopped short of completing the game. So many items in environments aren't destructible and the graphics look like a downgrade after you get over the nuances, it looks clunky a lot of times.

Also seems like you can't shoot through most objects even when you should be able to.

Why do you want it to run? Either you play... or don't. I don't think there is much reason to have the game iddle in the background

Who are you to say how people should play their games? I alt tab my games all the time to go do other things and come back.

I could understand wanting an idle game, a city builder or an rpg with scheduled quests to run in the background. Leaving this game running serves no purpose.
