In general, the "tutorial" is the content that comes before a notable increase in difficulty and/or lack of extensive guidance as where the "real game" begins. This might be the first few levels/fights in a game, or maybe even the entire base game before moving into the endgame content. Depends on the game, and on the user to some extent.

Thing is, Iceborne is A massive dlc. MASSIVE, like a sequel on it's own, It is almos ridiculous, I realized the sclae of things the moment I realized they don't sell you the base game complete edition + dlc. They sell you dlc complete edition + base game

maybe it's just me but I feel like there's ever any major jumps in difficulty or anything, and didn't feel like there was ever a time where I needed stop and figure things out before proceeding except for alatreon
unless the whole game is one big tutorial for alatreon
I just see people say x monster is a tutorial or each part of progression is a tutorial but the stuff that comes after is pretty much more of the same isn't it?
hunting arch-tempered elder dragons didn't feel much different from hunting them normally

no jump in difficulty? have you tried fighting AT behemonth on released day 1? or any of the AT monsters released day 1. or just the golden pickle released day 1? or KT day 1? or just fighting all the endgame monsters of Based World on HR gear. i think 80/90 percent of the new player based of iceborne have never fight AT nerg with HR gear or any of the AT monsters.

Perhaps a better sci fi comparison would be battletech warships vs jumpships.
Both are intersteller vessels with unique technologies designed for that purpose, but a jumpship is almost completely useless outside of just moving things around, while a warship actually is combat capable. Warships are also often an order of magnitude more expensive than a jumpship.

Gravships operate on a different principle than interstellar ships in rimworld, and the grav core might interfere with the JT drives, just like how in battletech you can't transport a KF drive with a KF drive. There are many explanations that can be used in sci fi for why things are the way they are.

i bet you the play while you wait feature is prioritizing all the killers to be queued first before survivor mains. how many days will bhvr wait to deny theres a problem before they actually killswitch this?

I use FSR frame gen and I don't have ghosting since I use a feature in my monitor which removes it.
