Go to the storage tab on the generator and look at the numbers and how the graph is labeled. This is V for "volume" and they don't say volts anywhere. But good for you for knowing about electricity, that is beyond most people anymore.

You could always just enable the customization setting just before you start a game, like when it says the starting year, and other metrics, you just enable the button and you can customize every detail of the politicians.

This puzzle really stumped me because I was overthinking it too. But it's like Saru says, just do what the bottom two small cabinets are doing.

Hint: Look at the lower left-hand cabinet and compare to the lower right hand one. The colours of the bottles in the left hand should be swapped to make the colours in the right.

Straight up answer: Probably easiest to first match the pattern of the left cabinet in the right. Then, using the bottom two cabinets as a guide, where there's an orange bottle in the big left hand cabinet, swap it in the right hand for green, where there's white bottles swap them for pink etc Refer to the bottom two cabinets to see which colours switch for which other colour.

I think they're just less active on the forums, I do see people claim to sometimes though, I'm guessing there are a lot.

I do think that people should play Vanilla first, it's a great game and it feels weird seeing posts like 'I just bought the game, give me mods' instead of playing at least a little.

There's no need for that, 100h is a long time and mods can make the experience better/more fun, would just make the game less welcoming.
