Gnosis is not a difficulty regulator. You're stuck with higher difficulty when you upgrade it, and tools are locked behind gnosis level.
While I agree that devs should not bend their vision, saying that Gnosis regulates difficulty would be a lie.

It seems like, with the release of Money Fronts DLC, Take-Two has updated their EULA that created concerns about forced arbitration, data harvesting and probitition of modding.

Although information about this incident has been rather scarce. It seems like it started with Borderlands, which is also a T2 game. Have you refused to accept this EULA, or are you playing regardless? If you know more about these changes, please comment them!
