If they have gone Firewarrior blob, load everyone into transports and dump them off into the blob with melee stance toggled. Tau are literally the worst faction in melee, with only the Kroot to fill the gap. And if they have brought Kroot along, they've sacrificed their greatest strength --- ranged firepower --- for flexibility, which other factions do better. Even a Guardsmen squad will BTFO a Tau Firewarrior squad in melee, especially with a Commissar, or especially-especially with a Priest attached. Even worse for the Tau, they have a setup time to even shoot back, meaning that as they disengage from melee, they're not firing on the move while you cut them down. Any ranged-specialist unit not focused on shooting from range (ie: being forced to move to avoid melee) is a unit effectively taken off the map. It may not SEEM like "a win", because it's still there, physically, by it's also providing next to zero tactical value to its army.

[Edit] I notice that some people are suggesting tech units from later tiers (tier 2 and 3 in particular). Just know that Tau can be removed from the map in Tier 0 by tying their FW squads in melee with cheap trash while you focus down their Commander.

Hi YinYin, Thanks for the advice.. I made a quick fix for Louis and LouisEX (included in v2.14, which will be Beta in ~2 days). When MP is insufficient, there will be no fallback or doing nothing. the move will still execute, but MP will drop to zero.

As for player names, the change doesn’t cause any harm. If a player feels strongly about hiding their name with empty-looking strings, I’ll just allow it.

Hi IceRay, Are you sure you’re testing v2.13? Rudolf should not lose MP when picking up an item in v2.13.
