God its something to go through the comments and there is a deluge of people who just spout "I just one shot them with my AT!" who refuse to acknowledge the point cause it doesn't apply to them. Clutching their meta builds tightly to their chests. That in a team game people want to diversify. People don't want to have 4 team members all running the same loadout.

I like to run with the stun primary and pacifier, followed up with gas grenades. I'm here to lock down areas and provide support to my allies. I can do nothing against a war strider. This needs to be clarified. I can do NOTHING against a warstrider. Even against hulks and tanks I can actually stun them and damage. I can do literally anything to support my team mates who will pack some heavier AT equipment. We work together and we generally do well. The moment a warstrider just waddles up though? I practically have to check out. There's no engagement, there's no counter to be had.

If I've not just been wiped out by a spam of grenades over whatever terrain its hiding behind I need to just leave. Which sucks. Considering the current spawner places at least 1 of these at every point of interest across the map. Is the answer "Well just have your friends shoot at them then with their AT" They're doing that already against the other war striders and factory striders that are dropping.

Since day 1 of the helldiver balance discourse the fact remains true still. 1 AT shot to kill a heavy enemy doesn't hold water when they're dropping in more and things become hectic.

Idea:
Add elections to the republic meme.
When the primary leader steps down or dies, the remaining two engage in a ritual to determine who becomes the new primary leader.

Bonus:
If the loser has greedy/jealous trait, a schism may occur and colonists loyal to the loser starts sabotaging the colony, similar to the system from VQE: The Generator.
Togglable in mod options.

Originally thought elections can be simulated with leader speeches, but not sure how to play up the civil strife aspect.

The statue has to be destroyed from the other side. No way to do that now.
But if you already made it to the ritual, you already must have found a way - otherwise you would not be there... ;)
That's why I ask: how did you get there? Iirc. there are only three ways to make it from main entrance area to the sandy slope hall, where also the seance is:

1. One door on the ground floor directly opposite to the entrance door - behind the two guards and the stairs
2. One door on the first floor directly above, where the maid and the butler talk
3. Through the dining room (from the entrance left, there are doors on the ground or first level), through the vault (which requires the statue to be broken), the workshop and the room with the tresor and the dog corpse

With the statue still intact, it can't be 3. so any of the other two doors must already be open in some timeline. Or it really is a bug...

Seriously? With a 500 ARX in-game earning limit per week, it basically forces the player to play the game every week (or buy ARX) otherwise their squadron carrier goes offline or has no services available? It's not for me then.

Are we going to see systems littered with dormant or private squadron carriers as well as all those unloved fleet carriers? Talk about polluting the environment. I just can't get excited about the whole carrier concept.

this kinda of thing makes me not even start , i dont want to keep playing forever , and when i want to play i want to do things i like , back in the day, i was one of the most hyped about the original fleetcarriers , them when i saw it had RENT i lost my interest totally , never broght one , i HATE this kind of mechanics
