The one defining thing about HoMM 4 was the ability to have more than one key hero, per campaign & combine them.

HoMM may have had some flaws but I felt more connection to Heroes and their value leveling up in HoMM 4 than any other in the series.

You could build them for...

Stealth & scouting
Healing
Damage
Melee

As the campaigns progressed you combined those traits, based on what you chose.

Then for huge battles, you could team up your beloved OP heroes and use them with your best troops, or / and most numerous zerg troops, to win the day.

PLEASE bring back that level of fun, or at least consider it as an expansion opportunity.

I also loved the mobile NPC armies and the ability to turn on or off that feature.

so.. I know all my settings are correct, in game, in steam, in windows, and in my steel series app. I can hear the pre-game screen (where you select to host a game and all that jazz), and i thought i couldn't hear any game/voice audio at all, but turns out i can hear the bees. and that's it. i can see people's mouths moving but i cant hear them. I've tried to uninstall, I've went into the game files, and deleted a few files (named photon something) then reverified integrity, and still nothing. i enjoy the game a lot, but not being able to hear anything except the bees occasionally really just ruins the experience.
