I had this exact same complaint and requested a refund for it. You can go back and play the OG ( which im doing now ) and WA like you said and the battlefields are gloriously brutal looking... DC and SS if you play with melee units theres only a few bodies.

sadly they removed it in DC and everything after that, if i remember correctly it was for competitive play or something stupid, oh well. Hopefully someones dedicated enough to make a mod after fighting all the coding to make it happen.

If they make it a toggle-able option or at the very least a mod that fixes this I will gladly re-purchase.

And the texts have been reduced in size a bit, although I think it was for translations.

It's already there, I wanted a thread here too so I could get other people's thoughts. More people engage here than on EA Forums it feels like.
