I haven't read the whole thread, but there is a very quick way to get to level 5.

Go to several ports and buy all the trade crates from the trade alliance. Once you have a lot, go to Reaper Island, bring all the trade crates down to the mainland, raise the flag, and sell them. In a matter of seconds, you'll be level 5.

As you can see, the flag appears quickly, but raising it takes a little longer. It depends on how fast you are buying the trade crates and sailing.

sounds like you're blaming the game for not knowing what to expect before playing

SalsaNChips, you need to get your account leveled up so you can display all your achievement glory on your profile page. The tools are there, you just need to put in a little effort to acquire and use them.

Well, to change game modes in SFM to TF2 to hl2 to something like that, make sure first backup the files so, you won't have to reinstall SFM again. and to change it to HL2's gameplay. I think you need to modify files and results are usually terrible as hell but if you succeed, no problem. I think you might need to replace assets of tf2 with HL2 in the tf folder. drag and drop items from hl2 to tf2 correctly and try and if it failed, verify integrity files and try again.

Not everyone can afford to buy a new computer when a new game comes out. Looking at 1500 or more for a computer that at my age is used mostly for reading and studying. I liked TQ when it originally came out Now I want to try and see how TQ2 works out. It is interesting the NVIDIA app says it should work for me. It lists it as supported. I have a good graphics card that I had to install a larger power supply just to run. Yes it is a few years old but has worked great for what I like to do. Only a fool would buy a new computer for a game.
