To avoid having too many elements in the technologies under development, I have grouped several Tau'ri, Goa'uld and Asgard shields into Milky Way shields in the technologies.
This makes it easier for me.

My argument is that they have only refined(in their opinion) what already existed. I imagine they are a state first company/developer. They made their game with themes that suggest this, and were shocked when players/peers did not think it was in support enough to the state. So they fixed it.
As far as the Dnd comparison: My point wasn't to state they they were the same, But rather to describe the psychological phenomenon that is culture and how it shapes are perspectives, and how that is ever changing.

I don't say "censorship" to criticize China or how the people feel about changes like this. I know that "censored" is often used as an insult, but I just legit feel like it's the most accurate word in the English language to describe concisely what's happened. I feel like saying "refined", at least for English-language readers, loses a lot of meaning.

BTW I've been reading a lot of conflicting information about what made the devs make these changes. Some say the government asked for the changes. Some say the government didn't ask for these changes. I've even read one person say that a rival Chinese company generated a fake outrage to hurt this game's sales. I don't think I'll ever know the real story, even if I translate the Chinese discussions, since I'm not Chinese, and can't put them in context. At least some of the stories make the censorship out to be more of a capitalist style response to the market, but IDK

DLC are tied to the copy of the game, so if want to play both DLCs, one of them have to get the missing DLC, or you could gift them the missing DLC to the one doesn't have it, if you really wanted to.

DEI is a codeword racists use to talk about non-white people and their worth. It's a political term, that racists use to push their agenda into video games. DEI is just the new 'states rights' or 'my heritage' rhetoric.

Thank you! So far this was the only time I was completely lost on what to do. I thought I somehow needed to extract one of my units. It really isn't explained that well at a time where you are still trying to understand the game. Thank you again!

When playing with friends, if a run goes long (especially the runs that are longer than 30 rooms), my friends start to experience strange issues: Losing the ability to dash, no longer seeing enemy health go down when shooting, enemies dying suddenly when they were at full health, etc. Nothing breaks on the hosts end -- just the other players. Bringing attention to this in case its something on the game-side and not merely connection-related.
