I have this exact same issue and it is NOT my CPU or my GPU causing it. It isn't my antivirus or firewall (I have added both DBD and Easy Anticheat as exceptions). It's not Windows as I have updated everything and ran the "scannow" command where no files were found corrupted. It's not my GPU drivers (or any other driver). No other UE game has this problem, so I am not thinking it's a UE problem specifically. It's only DBD. And it's a crash error that's hard to pin down because it seems to only occur when the game needs to write to certain files and is blocked or corrupts at that point. For instance, I can get into the game and if I do it slowly, I can set up my perks or my add ons or whatever. However, if I just jump into the game and start flipping through menus, it will ALWAYS crash. This occurs if I'm looking at the storefront, too. It doesn't crash at any other time for me. If I leave the game alone entirely (as in..just get into the game and play with whatever load out I played with before and change nothing), I can usually play just fine for a few matches. But, Heaven help me if I want to change my character's outfit or put an escape cake on. It's gonna crash for sure if I'm messing around in menus. It hasn't happened when I was looking at the Tomes, quests and not with the blood web. It DOES happen with the storefront. It's mainly happening when I want to change something on my character and I'm looking through those menus. Hope that info helps someone. IF anyone finds a good solution, please help us all out. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the difference there is that cutting a Smoker tongue is literally ONE INPUT so long as you can time it properly. Like it's not hard.

Just waiting for the git gud crowd to roll in on this and try to pretend they are the mostest awesomest ever. Melee was hard enough as it was.

Are you having issues with STEAM, like the "Ship of Heroes" Indies are, with setting up a Release date, because of Funding Account actions Steam takes on Producers?

The fanbase is generally attached enough to the games that many people prefer to play or at least watch playthroughs of the games to see the lore for themselves rather than having it summarized.

There's also the people who get way over-attached to fan-theories or love to push something that's true but reductive.

And then on top of that PM has soft-retconned a few things. "The Light" was originally presented as something that would free humanity from oppression, then in Ruina it was basically "Give everyone superpowers via psionics" and even in Limbus company revealing the fate of the branch facilities... Both Ayin and Angela never seemed to consider the people in those, almost like there was no plan about those when the first two games were released.

So I think the reason lore deep-dives are rare on this series is that there's not a whole lot of established facts to get into.

I just did this quest yesterday. I drew him out one by one and when they turn their back, just put them sleep. because I was lazy to wait for night. And when I returned the sword, I fight them with barehand. everything works out till I went back to Rattay and I have to paid guards for 80 hahahaha but it's ok.
