The current skills are boring beyond belief anyway, horrible design flaws that limit builds in an absurd way. Yes you can create strong stuff but it will always be the same mods as some are so badly/lazy designed they reoccur in most builds.

poe 2 is nothing like 1 and never will be in the same league but it looks prettier yay

Absolutely agree with the others - I will happily throw money at DLCs for this game. It's such a gem, I am craving more content. Let's go devs!!

They aren't as needed as ammo for sure, but still are useful overall, and depending of your playstyle.

In a crowded building like the hospital for instance, a silenced weapon can become very clutch to make your way quickly and without making every zombie in the building move around to converge to your position.
A flashlight attachment allows you to find items (and your way) easier in dark streets or building, and allow you to keep your gun raised at all time, instead of having to lower it to use your own flashlight every now and then.

I would even argue that some of the best items to buy (trim cutter, expensive rifles, ammo/med box, gen therapy...) shouldn't be available to own from the get go. Looting gears and supplies is the main gameplay loop after all.
