Well, and a little on an abstract topic. I noticed "Remember Me" in your list of favorite games. A game that also made quite a strong impression on me, in terms of some plot details, like "ATMs of memories" etc. The game mechanics and genre of the game, of course, are not really my thing, because I like various simulators most of all (especially hardcore ones, like "IL-2 1946"), quests and adventures, economic strategies, well, and high-quality tactical combat simulators, well, or at least well-made shooters, with good ballistics and physics in general.

I also liked the "Life is Strange" series (the first part of which is also in your favorites), but the most impressive, in my opinion, was "True Colors". Well, in "Life Is Strange: Before the Storm", Chloe was very charismatic, with her relationships, when her story and character are revealed. Although in the first part, she was very unpleasant.

So, that's what I'm getting at. In terms of story games, you might definitely really like the "The Longest Journey/Dreamfall" series (all 3 parts of the series). This is my favorite series of story games in terms of philosophy and depth of plot. There are simply no analogues, until now. Really, a treasure trove of various fairy-tale, fantastic and other interweavings. Like an encyclopedia of almost everything that was in the media of humanity. And even in some places it turned out to be prophetic. Ragnar Tørnquist is a real master of script writing.

Then, an extremely interesting game - "Beyond: Two Souls", despite the fact that it was pelted with tomatoes by players. The story there is extremely interesting, but it is extremely important to play the way the author intended, and not the version where there is a consistent storytelling, because it completely breaks the narrative. David De Gruttola, by the way, clearly constantly looked towards the Ragnar Tørnquist games and, accordingly, vice versa. Their games show a mutual connection, and eventually they came to a joint project. As for his "Detroit: Become Human" - I had very low expectations at first. I thought it would be another hyped-up empty project. But as it turned out, the game has some meaning and Kara's storyline is especially good. I also recommend it if you haven't played it yet.

And now, you might shake your head at my advice, but... "Call of Duty: Black Ops III". The plot there is very, very intertwined with "Remember Me". And much more twisted. I don't like the "Call of Duty" series in general, and especially "Modern Warfare" - I consider it just a bad taste in games (the "Black Ops" series at least doesn't cause a gag reflex). A kind of mass-produced, well-selling crap. But the third part of "Black Ops" is very worthy of attention, in terms of the plot.

Also anyone reading this thread, do not buy software for "cleaning" your pc,
you can download CCleaner from their website for free but these kinds of programs are not necessary for "X game" to work.


another update on the uninstaller
the uninstaller will only be in the folder if you have attempted to start Battlefield 6 (or some other EA game) before. If you don't have it, you probably didn't start the game, or you have already uninstalled via steam.

I'm not sure if steam uninstalls the whole anti-cheat, but it does delete the folder with the uninstaller. If you want to be super sure, re-install, start the game, then run the uninstaller, and then uninstall again.

Fun fact: The Orkish language has at least 50 words for killing and zero gendered pronouns because they are all mushrooms that reproduce with spores.

This pisses off some dumb 'umies who were ultra obsessed about genders and insisted on using "He" when interrogating a goblin about Ghazgul. They insisted, through a translator, to their captive that there were two genders, despite orks not having genders. Then they insisted they use a gendered pronoun instead of "they" despite the orkish language not having that. So, the translator explained this situation to the goblin, and then the proposed solution, who laughed like it was the funniest joke 'e eva 'eard.

Because the word they settled on using for ghaz in place of "He" was "da boyz" and that was just a hoot to any greenskin that the 'umies just plain insist on callin da boss dat

It's probably just an issue with cool-down times and completion counts, but it is annoying.

as silly as it is, delivering paintings for the "third rate painter" is the end of the line for that chain, much like the one with the knight in riniscita the last in line is repeated forevermore even though it reads much more like a one time thing

daily quests are definitely not a strength this game has, especially when you want a certain chain to be continued just so you can see the end of it, but even then, none of them have endings aside from the achievements

the restaurant waiter one does, she eventually becomes a cook. But the others, I'm not so sure.

for example. Group6 has 37 diffrent skills. If you want "divine blessing +2"; you have a 1:37 = 2.7% chance for that.

I took his overview to the next level and calculated the time needed for "that one lvl8 talisman!"

I dunno about you, but I really dislike this much rng in games. How about you guys? Should there be a system to manipulate the rng / reduce time needed?

For example "switch Skill A with B" at a vendor? This would decrease the time needed massively.

Realistically the talismans are mostly useful for casual builds. There are only niche max builds that can make use of these talismans based on their odds and allowances. Might as well just wait for the next update of just help other people grind if you really feel the need to play. Or you can wait till they add a talismans editor to get the best talisman possible for your niche build. Don't forget this is JUST high rank you aren't meant to be super busted yet or it makes most of the beginning of master rank irrelevant.

Crimson Valstrax armor in rise made most of early sunbreak a cake walk just needed to replace the weapon with next strongest weapon with decent slots.

Below that is a search function that you can use to search for things inside the thread you're currently on.
Below that is a link that takes you to Steam's community guidelines/rules.
Below that is a box titled "Your Forum Account", and has a link for your entire post history, and a link for your community messages (Responses from reports, or notices of bans)

The order is slightly different if you're viewing a forum as opposed to a singular thread, but the "your forum account" section is always present.
I feel like it's very easy to find. That side bar is available to see on every forum you enter, and every thread you read.
