Why do they even offer 8GB GPUs in 2025? Sure, the ready-built sellers snap them up for budget conscious buyer builds, but I would think that they would have the only pipeline for substandard cards. The retail sites are loaded with them, and you can tell they are ashamed of them because you actually have to click the teaser ad to see the details.

I played KSP and Orbiter and I'm familiar with how the mechanics of orbital rendezvous works, but I'm still having an absolute nightmare of a time trying to do the very first rescue mission for myriad reasons. It took me forever to discover that I could click on the velocity indicator while targeting another ship and see my velocity and heading relative to it, that was a big one.

But even with that figured out I find the maneuver nodes doing crazy things that make it very difficult to get close. When I'm clicking to add a maneuver right at the descending node to align my orbit with the target, it's putting the node in entirely the wrong spot (like 45 degrees off from anything that makes sense as the descending node relative to anything).

I'm finding several super-quick tutorials that gloss over this like it's no big deal, but in those videos the UI is doing things that, like, make sense. Either there's some subtle quirky behavior in how the maneuver nodes work, or I'm missing some HUGE detail that everyone else finds obvious. =/

The 'grey' descending node shows where your craft goes pass equator but the target craft might pass equator elsewhere. It's best to select target then burn at the 'blue' ascending / descending node(relative to target orbit) so you have 'Right ascension' matching target ones.

You can run from battles. You can run from battles. Please remember, especially when facing the the jailers in the endgame. I hated them, but 2 tips. 1: You can drop the drawbridge from under them at the end of the prisons. Hit the lever when they're on the bridge.. 2: You can run around them at the end of the library, and if you're fast enough, you can run out to the portal. Make sure you are closer to the middle of the map when you trigger the fight so they aren't completely blocking your path, and that you've already read Thomas' book so the portal has spawned. Sure you're missing out on echoes, but do you really need more at this point? I hate their battle the most.
