The game uses my friend's CPU's iGPU (from a 7950x3d) instead of the dedicated rx 7900xtx dedicated gpu.

Passing `DRI_PRIME=1 %command%` to the steam's launch parameters doesn't fix the issue (the most common solution to force a specific GPU).

He's running endeavorOS using x11.

Anybody else had to deal with this?

has he tried on windows? i think that's a BIOS issue, not OS.
every PC that has built-in GPU, has option in BIOS to either turn it completely off or to set PCI-E slot primary.

he probably mis-configured BIOS or didn't configure at all, most boards have built-in GPU set as default. in fact just recently i was fixing some old pc, i couldn't figure out why there's no signal to monitor, then i realized that since it was really old PC (15+ years), BIOS battery had gone flat and it reset to defaults, so it wasn't using the PCI-E slot at all, it was defaulting to VGA on post. i had to connect it via VGA and change BIOS.

Should try a proper OS like a real man... works fine on SteamOS. Course, with Sin 7😂 likely his machine is too old to run Unreal Engine.

You should test it for yourself.
Never knew how it fast on release, but right now it is a steady game. It even has a free Battlepass right now which includes cosmetics for BF6.

You know OP… I respect your right to say your opinion, your right to say I draw the line here because in my own opinion, this is not priced right for what it is…but you lose all credibility when you won’t give that respect back , even if you disagree. These posts that in the end, say if you don’t agree with my views… well I guess we know that now

My assumption is they do it to virtue signal, but I don't particularly care about motives, I'm just addressing the arguments.

Even if someone was trolling, or doing it for attention, I would still respond anyways, because my ideas are better. I don't believe the OP is trolling though.
