How do I know what difficulty I'm playing on? "simulated" is the only thing that appears selected. It would help a lot to have some visual indication of what difficulty is selected. My brother and I thought we were playing on easy only to spend an hour having a tug of war.

Difficulty settings are in the mission selection under their own menu. It will remember your last setting.

I tried to change it but it was always set to the hardest setting. I think, it wasn't clear which one was selected.

Bro, I get what you mean — I used to feel exactly the same. I had this resistance towards any game with a female or young girl as the main character. In CoD I wouldn’t use or buy any female skins, and in Battlefield V and 2042 I never picked a female character either.

But I’m fully aware that this was just male chauvinism on my part, and that these skins don’t actually affect the gameplay. Hey man, times are moving forward, right? We should start letting go of those biases. At the end of the day, it’s just a game. Sure, I miss the class skins from BF3, BF4, all the way to BF1, but for a game aimed at a broad audience, it has to cater to everyone’s tastes.

You can totally hold onto your view that the battlefield should be male-only, but there will definitely be people who think adding women is necessary — especially considering the growing number of active servicewomen today. I’d say let’s drop some of those stereotypes, because this might be the best Battlefield game we’ve had in the last 7 years. Just enjoy it. And if you really want an all-male roster, SQUAD and Arma are still great options.

You missed the point a bit, of course I do not mean any sexist actions.. I simply do think they shouldn't force us to play as woman in 1/2 of classes, it's ridiculous, we want an immersive and atmospheric war game. But all we got is battlefield full of high pithed annoying woman screams that can really pull out of the immersion and ruin the atmosphere. Women soldier exist, a minority of course but they do, but in the frontlines/combat active, there is very very few. I do not see any other reason to force 1/2 of the army being a woman. (woman voicelines overwhelming the men voicelines). We do not ask for realism, but for sole immersion, which this is not. I am not sexist, or not scared of woman, I like to play as them in games like overwatch etc., I just do not see any reason for EA to shoot in their own knee to break their promised immersion like this. Other reason than DEI of course. I really love the game, and want it to be trully immersive and atmospheric, no need for feminist running around with rpg, and carrying 100kg+ men across battlefield.

Rationalise it.

Is it simple bad luck? Only you know.

Are you trying hopeless strategies because losing too many runs derailed you and you're going rogue? It's really hard to play well when tilted. Maybe play a different decks for 1-2 days, come back to Nebula later.

Is orange 5x tougher than purple? I'd argue it is not. If you keep trying, you're bound to win. Sooner or later, only weak jokers are made perishable and orange is the new purple.
