I started this save game around 2024-12-20. I did quit with Alt-F4 a few times, before I realised it was causing problems, so that could be the cause of the save file corruption.

Don't worry about fixing it just for me though; editing the save file has fixed it on my machine.

further testing, it's not just the config file that's not working. I took a snip of my health and power, went to the main menu and used the in game settings for my save to change health and power
game, I tried crafting new equipment.... There was no change.
However, if I start an entirely new save and change those numbers, it will reflect the multiplier I choose.

I can't wait to return to TLD, it just has that thing, that perfect survival game style. One
more region and a difficulty between stalker and interloper. Custom mode feels cheap, starting a custom run feels weird knowing you can edit any setting and being realistic why not just set everything to

launchpad menu and select the correct profile without exiting the game. The drawback is separated control runs different gameplay.

This is the best choice when OP needs to keep the same gameplay in single profile with two separated

I received a 'Fatal error' today, and all my saves are gone. I don't have a 'SavedGames' folder within the "%userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved" folder, but considering I had
no issue launching the game and continuing from where I had left it from the previous day (regular quick saves, etc.), I imagine the fatal error actually ended up deleting the 'SavedGames' folder

) you can also open a run command with Win+R and typing %AppData%.
After getting there you will see 2 .json files and a folder with your saves. Open both files with notepad or any text editing software
that if any of the files has an argument just replace that with {}.

Saved both files and opened the game, now it works.
My guess for why it wont repair itself with "verify integrity of files" is because

iv found a bug but have no one to test it can you look at a light source one that's fire inside a cave/dungeon with it on the right hand side of your screen and then use esc key to purse the game and
go to any of the screens that lets you see the light in the background though the blurred filter that goes over the gameplay. i suggest the safe screen that lets you pick to save or load and wait in
