I'm currently working on a mod that adds a bunch of incidents and mostly italian emergency services stuff, i'd be interested in also adding custom gear (especially medical) but can't really find any XML files for those. I've already read past posts related to gear stating that it wasn't possible but they are from 2020 and now mods like the Fierce Expansion add custom gear, so i guess it's definitely moddable. Anyone?

That's subjective. My expectation as solo self found is that you'll be able to trade with our own SSF character the items that we found. I don't really care either way, both works for me. I don't see any issues. But questions and feedback toward this behaviour is perfectly warranted.
