Having the game go between all and nothing on auto throttle is just...Not ideal in some cases. Like when you're trying to haul cargo or drive up the scrapper's ramp.

I think a better idea would be to have a mode where the gas and brake determine what percentage of throttle you're using, IE, 0 to 100%, so you can cut your throttle down to a lower amount like 10-25% and keep it there if you're trying to say, not break your cargo off or trying to drive into the scrapper's truck.

I think your problem is not having a controller. If you use a controller and assign the triggers to the throttle, you will achieve what you mentioned wanting.

I'm not Zesty Jesus, but thanks for letting me know that you disagree with him on this one thing! Do you also disagree that before Casual, Valve servers were displayed in the browser, helping to encourage everyone to use it? Or will you accept that as a fact, only to somehow spin it as a negative

just played like my 5th game as Aquila never really used that mech before and I was uncontested the entire game and I also had to move the payload nobody knew what was going on haha.

It is mostly bots, yes.

But also the bots DO actually play the objectives.
