By imperium, do you mean galactic imperium origin or the imperium shipset? disabling either didn't help, neither did disabling ASB Gonna try disabling some tech mods next.

just bumping this, because i see a lot of people having a similar issue ; i dont seem to be able to build Explorers atm.. there's a couple of mods labelled as "Imperium". i'm gonna cycle through and see if changes to any of them fixes it

I tried it on a Windows To Go Stick and it worked, that mean't it wasn't any of my hardware, at the end I reinstalled Windows and it worked again.

I have already told you everything you need to know. The enemies are not going to kill you if they can't hit you to begin with. Others in the past also said that if you have a diplomat on your team you can negotiate the end of the combat right there if you feel like you're in trouble. Personally all I ever need is a three man team consisting of one soldier, one scientist and one medic. I always have that cultural wisdom guy (I forget the name of that class) tag along and then an engineer can help make sure none of my gaters die to a freak RNG accident, once in a blue moon.

Use the scientist ability to drastically reduce the enemy accuracy. The bullet vests mitigate damage so your gaters don't get one two punched. Ask your medic to heal whomever get hit immediately the same turn after and continue like this until the enemy miss. Then just kill them all.

Investing in defenses on worlds is simply a noob trap. Any option in any game that stall your progression to give you a safety card in the case you mess up is. I've never built those ever (and to be frank are a very late close to 1.0 thing that was added rather recently). In fact a lot of people reported that it is only a bonus modifier and if you don't defend yourself and let it defend itself it might just get destroyed straight away and you lose all your investment. Better steer out of those, they are not worth it in any scenario. Get rid of the problem by killing the enemy teams instead. They don't have an infinite amount of gaters and have to train them the same way you do. After you win a few engagements it is simply an easy grind to get them to surrender... Or to kill them all.

EA isn't the problem anymore, people who keep the money rolling in are.

Все я ухожу, мне достаточно. Сегодня делал квест, где посылку доставить нужно и при этом нельзя терять сознание. Спросите что произошло такого? Да вот сходил я к месту где надо доставить посылку. Угадайте что произошло со мной дальше по пути обратно за наградой(а это набор старых инструментов+несколько тыс игровой валюты). Не доходя метров 10 до безопасной зоны меня убивает пкшник в спину со снайперской винтовки, я даже глазом моргнуть не успел. В итоге квест был провален и я не получил награды(сходил туда просто так, потратил свое время). До тех пор пока не убирут пк обратно не вернусь(осточертело). Терпеть этот беспредел не намерен, пкшник убил меня не за что, просто так(это не нормально уважаемые разработчики делайте хоть что то с этими пкшниками)

That’s exactly the mindset that kills innovation. Of course a single Steam thread won’t change the industry overnight, but every shift starts small. Communities, discussions, critiques… they all stack up and influence perception over time.

Saying “you’re just some random guy” doesn’t change the fact that the points stand on their own merit. Either the critique is valid or it isn’t, who says it matters less because of who says it?
