I don't mind one bit paying money for DLC and eventually the game just becoming more expensive to get the full package.

Necro'ing this discussion just to say it feels pretty damn bad to find out achievements have been disabled 70+ turns deep into my first campaign all because I was checking what the keybindings do. MASSIVE oversight in my opinion.

Hey, encountered this issue just now and would like to add some useful information that at least worked for me.

Yeah if you’ve just gotten Steam do make sure it doesn’t automatically start itself, but if you’re past that point, there is an easy fix that usually works as far as I can tell: Go into your system BIOS and disable Integrated Graphics. I don’t really know any of the reasoning behind why that works but at least for me and a lot of others it did, so fully reinstalling Windows should only be a super last resort.

Is there an exit or is that just impossible

If there isn't then it'll save me reinstalling it
