Despite the fact that many of them are obsessed with games like this and they are currently some of the most seasoned actual combatants, hard to say that "real world drama" shouldn't influence which factions or countries are added, since many of the current countries (USA, Russia etc) start most of the real world "drama" as you call it, which is actually mass slaughter. No drama there.

Idiotic to even imply like there's something wrong with adding in Ukraine. In fact, I wouldn't mind if the default factions were more like those found in the Global Escalation mod which feature "real world drama" factions. Again I need to mention that Israel for example is basically an extension of USA, since Israel is essentially an American military outpost.

Also I find it funny how some of the default factions are fictional yet the American and Russian ones are very specific -- not only the flags, countries etc but specific units even. Yet, there's also the generic "Middle East alliance". Laughable.

Like, obviously there's a bias here, clearly a bias here.

Why not Iran? etc.

Uh oh, dem controversies and "real world drama" make me insecure as I sit here and play a game depicting the killing of my fellow man. Ok, lol.

No, in fact it's not about drama or anything, just bias. Mostly derived out of right wing and contrarian left wing political brainwashing.
