Spend a day checking your mods. There might be more than one, so the 50/50 isn't going to work. Consider grouping mods by function, and then try running a new save made without mods with each group added one by one.

EA was already going to code things like this directly into the game in knowing there are going to be customers who don't want it pushed in their faces, when they got certain shareholders that are known for the DEI stuff, EA will want to push it in everyone else's faces so the shareholders stay happy with it, plus they have a history hiring certain individuals into development teams and push that agenda.

When you got sycophants backing their corner acting like everyone's best friends and blackballing those who don't fit that narrow point of view, EA is insulated between those who want to attack it and those who want to defend it. given half a chance they will get into conflict and EA will just duck out the side and leave them to it, what do they care? Always more sycophants to find.

When a certain someone gets off his soapbox one day and sees the reality of the situation, i'll be laughing at him so hard for how easily he had been mislead in following the EA line and advertising these game changers for free. EA is not his friend and none of these predatory and greedy publishers are. Those game changers will not thank him for it and neither will they care, but hey, another click and view of their content means more money in their pocket.

EA should be held to account for their practices, values and shoddy workmanship seen in every game, patch and DLC that is constantly bugged, broken needing an immediate hotfix or abandoned and left to its fate like Mass Effect Andromeda. So long as the customers aren't against them entirely, EA will keep doing things like this and no one is going to tell them otherwise.

I know this will sound degrading but even my GF who doesn't inform herself ONE bit not only beat the first boss easily but somehow also did double my DPS.

The game is not for everyone bro. If you are so much in poverty only free weekend you can play, you might as well spend that one weekend do door dash earn extra money for house rent brother

That's weird. Even folders?
Try closing Steam, check it's not running in the tray bar.
Unmark "read only" from all folders and files.
Run Steam as Administrator

sometime, 1 out of 15 around,
the page stay at start of real match, I can see even the bots running in the map, but I stay on watch ... tested for 5 minutes, but only solution is to stop the game via 'Stop' on steam.
And it are most the same other human gamer when it happen - NEVER with bots only !
