No, there's no way to get TL2 to play well with controller, unfortunately. We're stuck with TL3 if we want to play with controller.

do i put it in the end scenario synced trigger? and init so?

Tl;Dr, it's too costly and easy to kill. Fixing these will go a long way.
RoF isn't really needed when out-of-base reinforce is slow.
It has range of most motorized AT platforms, so adding more isn't helping much.
lower pop is ok, but since sniper is one-time payment, it's a bit much.
Cancerous 2-man sniper team deserves to stay in garbage bin of horrible design.

That just overcomplicates things. You can still run away from random encounters on the world map. It's the non-random maps that have this problem.

For purely gameplay purposes you could absolutely pick this up and have a blast. A huge amount of the game isn't even story related if you're looking for some tactical fun and just want to do some missions you'll enjoy it.

Story wise - You can still enjoy this game without playing the other metal gears, It's a prequel to most of the metal gear games so you aren't going to miss too much playing this one without the others.

I'd still recommend playing the entire series as they are all fantastic games. Even Metal Gear Solid from the ps1 era (one of my all time favs) is still highly enjoyable and I still play through all of the games from time to time.

The game currently has about 30-50 hours of content depending on if you just focus on the story tasks or if you do optional stuff like finding collectibles that can be used to boost your HP/stam/etc or building a more elaborate base after finding the perfect location.

I think the foundation is pretty solid but I have run into bugs and crashes. If you want the "best possible experience" then you may wish to let the game cook for a bit longer. I'd say the game is worth $30 in it's current form though as long as you're ok with it being a bit rough.

You'll also get a bit of a discount if you buy the game now too. Nothing says you can't buy it while it's cheaper and then play it later.

Hope they day comes wher for online games an Passport ID is needed and when you get banned for cheating you can never play again or have to identity teft and go to jail if chaught.
