I never mentioned pvp or pve so i don't know why you're bringing that up. I was discussing solo vs group content. Plus your point is obviously wrong anyway. They DID change the deep desert from all pvp the half pve. So they could definitely change how the labs work.

The fact that she spoke in the past tense proves everything. Because this dialogue takes place right after episode 18, where her grandfather was shot, and before episode 19 begins (let’s not forget there are days between missions), and as we saw at the beginning of episode 4, she knows that her grandfather was able to fly. She has seen her grandfather either flying or landing. She also knows that Schroeder’s experiments put pressure on her grandfather, which is why she constantly blames Schroeder. Ultimately, when she learns that her grandfather can no longer fly at all, she says those words to Schroeder with even more anger. In the context of the story, she definitely knows that her grandfather can’t fly anymore. In the cutscene after the final episode, we can also understand from Avril’s dialogue that everyone is aware of Mihaly’s condition.
