lol, Thanks for this post because now I know the beta is over. I was going to play while it was running, I tried, but 'server' wasn't big enough for me to fit. I was thinking, ok everyone's at school and work I want to see how the game runs, nah, its over, for now.....

The more cards in the pool, the wilder combos can be made. This is why I usually stick to the rotating formats.

If they wanted the Historic format to be more sane (by sane, I mean not generating a value of 10+ mana in three turns), then they would need to ban hundreds of cards. People hate bans, because they take pride in cards worth 50$ each, and they feel cheated once their value drops.

It is what it is.

At this point, anyone who would still be willing to play likely has so many hours into it that the update will be about 10 minutes worth of content

They're very different games, you can't really compare them.

You kind of can. Just because they're different doesn't mean one isn't better. Wendy's is different than McDonald's, but they're both fast food and some think one is better than the other. Battlefield and Sandstorm are both multiplayer shooters...etc.

I had a case where the bag wasn't visible, but when I walked over where I died, I got my stuff back. Not sure if the bag was directly under the ground or something.

Since One Piece will be ending in a few years, they'll probably wait until the end of it so they can include everything. Probably won't be enough time for 2 more OPW releases until the end. Hopefully they'll reward our patience by allowing all previously released characters in-game at launch...
