Mr. Amazônico, the way dota 2 matchmaking (MM) is working is the same as it was over 10 years ago. Dota 2 developers have made (and continue to make) modifications to MM. But the idea is the same:
- MM setups matches for users that optimize their engagement with the product by providing a pre-defined experience.

And, their changes mostly involve bringing more "quality" into that experience.

As a veteran player I will say that the game has been heavily casualized in the last few updates. Version 0.3 was Dark Souls FPS. Stamina was completely lost after a few hits - it was impossible to escape from enemies if you had poor positioning. Losing sanity killed you instantly. There were five skulls on the ship, and it was impossible to weaken it. If you did not have a long range weapon you had to escape. I liked the hardcore version of the game, unfortunately, with the growth of popularity, people like you have asked for things to be simplified.

I read about the earlier versions of the game and found that interesting. I've been playing since its EA release on Steam but heard that it was even more difficult prior to. There is a way to set yourself at level 1 with increased Gnosis and reducing stats to 0 by modifying your save file. Then the challenge is to run with only 1 weapon equipped. No spells, no fetishes, no other equipment. That's one way to up the difficulty but I'm sure it isn't anything like the earlier versions.

Part leveling will still be a prevalent part of the game, but we're aware that the old experience of "your items grow obsolete every time you go to a new province" wasn't ideal. We're trying to make leveling less of a fixed pressure and a more variable part of the game you get more control over.

We've taken note of a lot of this kind of feedback to make some changes to the level system that should make it feel better to engage with. We're still getting feedback on this from playtesters, so it may change, but some of the current changes include:

• Part upgrading will become a more prominent part of gameplay, making it easier to keep using parts you like
  
• Streamlining of the campaign should make level progression feel more natural as you advance through the game
  
• Updates to the workshop should make it easier to build parts you like at an appropriate level once you get the blueprints
  
• Pilot traits and abilities will help mitigate the effects of having lower level parts when entering a new province

Additionally, we're also making some provinces in the branching campaign not increase in level, allowing you to pursue blueprints or experience under less pressure.

first of all, awesome mod i got two suggestions: first, a hotkey to disable/enable ai (for better item picking) second trying to impliment coop hud, even if this is going to be a challange

Hi, check for DontReplace attribute. It overrides default replacement of your battle units with units in your team.

The fact that Beyond does what Capcom SHOULD have done with mvci is honestly kinda saddening. Like, it took a team of dedicated and extremely based modders to turn that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game into something people would actually play. Only issue I have with beyond is that they didn't add my glorious goat viewtiful Joe.

Yea same for me but going down, there's no map for the wall or anything, there's no way to know if I'm wasting my time, I was enjoying the game until that part, I'm at 2/3 miners and anywhere I enter there's no more radar telling me there's a miner.
