New season, same currency drought?

I have friends that fired up this game with this latest season release. I'd love to join them, but I'm worried about currency still being basically non-existent. I haven't followed the game in awhile, but did they ever address how awful the currency drop rate has been since release?

Niche audience for which niche product is made don't have money or interest to engage in their childhood classics or games which they constantly play. However, people find all the money in the world to buy recent AAA slop and funnel money into microtransactions and mobile games. This kind of behavior is exactly why games had killed so many legendary studios in 2000s. A single misstep and legendary studio goes out of business.

That's literaly the only reason.

If people did not spend massive amount of money on DLC that were just content cut from the base game before release sold at super high price games today would not all be released unfinished and ask you money to get the finished product.
If people did not buy unfinished game to then praise it like brainwashed fanatic like they do for every AAA things would not be this bad.
If people like you did not chill for company know to release borken product and for never listening to their target audience then we would not have to deal with company asking 80 for generic and mediocre cash grab.

You and all the people like you are the issue, and the joke is that you're all unable to understand it.

Seriously why would i bother paying for such a small update when i can get a great and original indy game for less than 30$?
Why would i pay for an update to a game that barely anyone care about, so no one to play against in MP, because the dev didn't fix any of the issue the game had and only updated the graphic?

Down of War is anything but niche... It's quite literaly one of the most popular RTS ever...
Only Starcraft and Warcraft beat it in popularity.

If Relic spent even ten minute thinking they would have updated everythings (for free), update the maps to fix all the issue they had, fixed the issue many unit still have, and more importantly fixed the pathfinding.
This would have made everyone who owned the game want to try playing the game again.
This would have been the best add for the game and this would have actually made them more money.

You need to be ignorant about videogames to not understand that a free update can easily make a lot of money.
Many indies games have been releasing free update for YEAR and they make money with it.
A free update push the actual owner of the game to play it again, this mean that they will talk about it, then people who dont own the game will buy it. Then Steam will show the game to more people leading to even more sale.

PS : Are you a kid? Are you special? No normal adult ever say "lol ya dun buy dis junk? yar brok or wat?"

Major Update Incoming: Improving Progression and Endgame

I thought the next patch would only be a temporary fix for the endgame, so I was surprised to see such a major change. I'm looking forward to it.
