Dein Text ist extrem strukturiert und analytisch aufgebaut, fast schon im Stil eines KI-generierten Textes, was aber vollkommen in Ordnung ist. Solange der Kern deiner Aussage von dir stammt, habe ich nichts gegen ChatGPT einzuwenden.

Ich verstehe, dass Simulatoren für dich gerade wegen der Vorhersehbarkeit und Detailtiefe entspannend sind. Für mich persönlich geht dabei aber der Kern dessen verloren, was Gaming ausmacht unzwar Interaktion, Abwechslung und eine gewisse Unvorhersehbarkeit.
Wenn man überwiegend Anzeigen abliest, starre Abläufe wiederholt und an statischen, technisch veraltenden und teils lieblosen Umgebungen vorbeifährt fühlt sich das eher wie virtuelles Abarbeiten an als wie richtiges Spielen.
Klar, Nische und Budget begrenzen das Design aber gerade dadurch leidet für mich die Spieltiefe und Dynamik.
Am Ende bleibt es subjektiv. Für dich ist das Vorhersehbare und das Repetitive entspannend, für mich wirkt es monoton und widerspricht dem Grundgedanken des Gamings. Beide Perspektiven sind in Ordnung.

The latency will definitely be improved but it depends how far you are usually sitting from the WiFi access point. On WiFi you might get 5-10ms of internet latency while on Ethernet you get less than 1ms.

So yes using Ethernet will be better, but you will be stuck to 1 location

The few vaguely relevant topics i found while searching for user experiences was that it could give trouble.

I think i even read somewhere that ethernet was giving more graphical issues and input lag than wireless, which sounds unlikely but could be an hardware/software issue.

The fixed location is not an issue for me, i only use my deck in the living room anyway, that way i can still spend time with my wife and my dog while getting some playtime in every now and then.

Add a "comeback" mechanic like Ultras in Street Fighter, aka a super meter that fills as you take damage, and "Pros" whine and cry about it. Hell, just adding "2D fighters" to Tekken 7 was enough to make the "Pros" whine and cry because they had to start side stepping instead of just being able to sprint straight forward.

Dead Angle attacks from Guilty Gear. Guard Thrust in KoF, Blazblue and Under Night in-Birth. Faultless defense in Guilty Gear. I-frame reversals in EVERY 2D fighting game. All defensive options DoA never had.

I have received new information. The game has a general problem.

GDStash. My in-game stash is full as it is. Using mules is just a crutch. Grim Dawn has so much loot, that limited space will just not cut it. Plus GDStash has its own collection tab to figure out what you are missing, and search options to find items relevant to your build.

But I'm not using GDStash for creating items. Just for storing.

Yes, some career races are rigged against you to reflect historical events. (This game is based off of actual Japanese horse racing.)

But..... there's a very good chance you did something wrong. And we can't help you if you don't give us some actual details.
