Molotov's spreading is limited, I admit. My way of using it is often forcing enemies to cluster around a choke point---like camping in a room with a window. Then I will break the window and throw the Molotov out in the middle of the enemies for max damage.

Most of the time, Molotovs are used to block paths, forcing enemies to retreat or ambush a group of unsuspecting enemies.

Here's what I suggest: During a shootout, when the enemies is sticking together firing at where they think you are, try to move towards their side, throw molotovs in the middle of the crowd. Its quite effective.

Try it a few time, and you can get the hang of it. Ignoring those Git Good comments, they are everywhere and won't do you much good.

The key to fire is don't use it like direct hit weapon, use it to block paths, to burn down flammable zones, or where it will spread into cornered enemies.

Never said they were bad. I've used molotovs just fine in game, mostly to funnel enemies together for a grenade since I noticed they like to hang out just outside the fire until it passes. I said that it's both frustrating and nonsense that a full force smashed bottle in the middle of two guys can miss one or both of them. Just yesterday I smashed a molotov on a dude's back and watched as it spread as far away from him as physically possible. In any other game the molotov would have a splash radius to prevent exactly that.

The save files isnt at its usual place anymore. %APPDATA% ................... there isnt any save/folder

I don't mind these small bugs, but now I play games and crash at least once a day! It's the kind of game where you've been busy and hardworking all day and suddenly crash! The last day was all in vain, and all the new gems and artifacts that were opened were gone! And I waste half an hour of my real life every day for nothing! I haven't played any other games like this, except for Coral Island. I've been playing this game for a whole year, and I haven't changed this habit. I've played this game at least 50 times and it's not an exaggeration!

- Also: combine two stacks (at least if their sum is less than max stack size) upon consumption to end up with two stacks of the same item, where you have to drop one stack to make room

I've got 25 hours so far and I definitely agree that the game is really good but shoots itself in the foot (pun not intended). I don't like that all your progress is lost after finishing the mission, and that for most runs you can't continue playing. I also hate that the game forces you into making stupid build choices because you only have 3 choices to pick from, sometimes you'll go in one direction but the limited choices force you into another.

I want full control over my build, and I want to be able to keep playing with that build for as long as I like. This might not make sense for the story mode. There are game modes that allow you to go on forever but they have their own problems.

I also think pierce and training / hordes are a thing that I wish existed. Which goes more in the zombies genre, but I don't see why we can't have open-area map designs or maps where you have a horde running directly at you instead of in all directions. Constantly changing direction is more of a console thing. As a PC player it puts a lot of strain on my wrist, and I prefer shooting with more precision at a distance.
