Gale gets zero sympathy, because why Gale is in his situation is his own fault. He was literally smashing a goddess and that wasn't good enough for him, oh and find your own magic items because "You're addiction isn't my problem" lucky I wasn't playing dark urge or he'd just be a severed hand in my bag.

Lae'zel is just straight up a massive ♥♥♥♥♥ at the beginning, and I had to force myself to do her quest, but then she becomes slightly less annoying after Vlakith tries to have her executed, but only slightly.

I despise Astarion. Rarely have I despised a companion more than Astarion, he is selfish, cruel and you get 0 chances to call him on his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Of all the companions he is the one in RL I would have broken his nose mid sentence after he opened his mouth so say some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing after we helped someone. Like if dude was a real person in arms reach I would be in cuffs and he'd be on a stretcher on his way to the ER. I would crush him so fast. You can't reason with his kind, they just need injured and hopefully they learn.

Halsin is just boring, and far too horny. Druids are unfortunately EXTREMELY powerful as in D&D combat is always won by the team with the highest action economy and 6 spore druid/6 Necromancer = 19 summons on one character.

Minthara I seldom recruit, but she seems like a crazy ♥♥♥♥♥. She looks like a man, she would be actively hunted by house Baenre if she defected but never once was I slammed by a full on drow hit squad which is disappointing. She is a tried and true sociopath.

Jahira is Jahira, she's just a old broad put in for fan service. Again Druids are powerhouses so she gets a slot on the team, nothing like destroying game balance between her, Halsin and me all running druid builds and having close to 60 summons between the 3 of us.

Minsc is bro, and it is a complete shame you don't get his goofy ass until the game is almost over. He should have been at last light with the Harpers IMO.

Shart is crap. She is speced at game start into probably the worst cleric subclass, she is cagey, her fear of wolves is a massive hindrance in a party of druids that all have wolves as summons, she has no moral compass at all. One moment she is cool helping people, the next she is not. I dislike wishy washy people and no pretty face redeems her.

Karlack though is actually entertaining. She takes almost nothing seriously, she has a joke for almost everything, and specing her into open hand monk 8/Thief Rogue 4 she can do like 400ish damage per round. Legit AF. She is just chill, likes smashing ♥♥♥♥ and is a genuinely decent person. Even her romance is top notch. Though her companion quest is sorta uhg and never got finished because Larian cut the entire upper city from the game.

I play on a full hd monitor with DSR at 1.78 (quadhd), there were no problems, the other day the quadhd resolution stopped working, you can only see a piece of the screen and black stripes on the right and bottom
