To be honest it might be just the fact that you have not played in a while. Hell i know how the game works and the german fighters messed up my landcaster pretty badly on the first mission cause i flew by the building i had to bomb and had to turn the plane around for a 2nd try. The game will punish you if you play like a idiot. For example getting greedy for the extra cash and xp from the photos. If you know you will get shot down if you go for the recon photo and still try to get it and get shot down because of that. Yeah thats on you for being a dumbass xd. But to be honest getting back to base with a bomber that is badly damaged and has 2 engines left that are on red heath and all of the crew are badly wounded is like the BEST feeling EVER. Knowing the fact that ALL of your progress could have been GONE if you would have paniced and wasted a few seconds. No other game has me feel this way.
