AOE2 is a very friendly game and the difficulty curb only happens if you want it to happen by either going into multiplayer or selecting to go against higher difficulty settings for AI.

Play skirmish matches against the computer on "moderate" difficulty. It`s how I started.

Experiencing a bug in the Ghost Museum where I cannot unlock an area that requires a object with Knowledge Level 2, even though I have exhibits with Knowledge Level 3 or higher already placed in the museum.
The game seems to be not recognizing that I meet the requirements. I've double-checked my staff assignments and research facilities - everything appears to be working correctly.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? It seems like the game logic for checking knowledge level requirements might be broken.
Any help would be appreciated!
