Why would you imply there would not be Player's resorting to cheats to play a game. Would you go so far as to imply that has never happened, nor ever will.

I didn't say there are no cheaters. Your thread title says they "have to", so I asked why you think that anybody "has to" cheat. I can think of no plausible scenario where a player is forced to cheat in a video game.

If you only base it on the numbers then that is a very weak argument. The beta is free, cheating is low risk, so there will be many more players trying it out. Maybe there have also been a lot of false positives.

I send the developers an email asking them to put it on steam and they said no and it wont be on steam ever!!! Am happy they changed their mind

Show me the posts of PVE players asking for more content and not just easy access to resources and blueprints people fight over..Way PVE is it can be done alone even in endgame. Every one wants more content PVE and PVP. We spent the past 4 weeks tailoring to PVE players and making it harder to kill people in PVP.... It will never be enough for "PVE" players till yall have a creative mode... Give an inch take a mile as they say... How have the pve players contributed ? Cut the deep desert in half, made getting anything other than spice super easy.. Thats about it.. PVP players have been helping with how to stop the griefing and making PVP more fun for everyone...:awkward:

We didn't cut the DD in half
Funcom did; they thought this would entice us PvE players back.. It's not going to.
PvE players don't want to play with PvP players.
funcom making the DD "less PvP", making resources easier to get, ect; is literally irrelevant changes to most PvE players.
Funcom are trying to lure PvE players into PvP zones and they're ruining PvP zones in the process.
I say revert the DD changes mark them as PvP servers and let PvP players pvp on pvp servers.
release PvE servers and let pve players, pve, on pve servers.
Why ruin the game for everyone?

Honestly I'm at the point where funcom should just pick a side and start running with it if they're not going to release PvE servers. Revert the changes and make the DD as hard and harsh as they want so us PvErs can go back to games we find fun.

Well maybe they aren't pandering to both sides. Seems a lot like they are pandering to the majority of the players, the PvE players (which I don't mind)
