How would you feel about a setting to disable it from the boss pool?

I think allowing the boss to be disabled doesn't address the fact the boss just isn't fun.

The boss was an idea for something different, but it's from the wrong kind of game. I no longer get to have the fun of thinking of the best hand.

I don't think it ever works very well. in fact, if I understood it immediately it would have been really easy since I didn't have any limitations.

The boss punishes thinking at an aggressive rate. It's not even like a chess clock. Your best move will likely be to get the dice out as quickly as you can trusting that the slots will score enough.

What you really want from a boss is to force the player to think different. To challenge their easy route to victory. And, in fact, this is one reason why Balatro showing the boss blind early is useful. The player has time to prep for the challenge.

There's a lot of good stuff going on in this game. This boss just doesn't fit in.

Hey,
never played first part of Grounded and Im playing Grounded 2 on Gamepass right now and I have to agree about the steep difficulty curve .. :)
I managed to get the Egg but after that is was just an endless army of Ants. I couldn't get the egg out of the cave or reclaim my backpack ^^' .
It was a very frustrating experience and I don't know if I will keep playing... If the Game is this difficulty early on I don't believe I can manage the Game even if I set the Difficulty down xD

I recommend playing 1 if you haven't beaten it yet, the story is a continuation of 1 so you've already been spoiled. 1 is way more feature complete with better story pacing and there's even additional content via New Game+ you can play through. It's most likely going to be years before Grounded 2 is finished.
