Length : 9 Battles.

You'll be faced with EPIC battles worth posting in the forum. Crazy stuff can happen that you wouldn't believe ... :)

I think the forum people call it a siren as it draws your gaze. I've never been hurt by it. I honestly want to know what the "infection" it emparts on other mobs does. You'll see other creatures walking around with the purple blob on their head. I can't tell what it actually does.

Builder, fighter, gatherer. It allows me to stay involved and not get burnt out on doing the same thing all the time

If you are still using Windows 7, I have created a separate branch for you so you can still play the game as it was with "The Final Update" 1.52.0, but you will not be able to receive this or any other future updates or other content.

Are you serious? Does this mean what I think it means? That there is NEW CONTENT planned?

YES! When?!

I’ve been with Star Trek Online for a long time, and I stuck around hoping it would get better. But lately, it’s become clear to me just how empty the game has really become.

Every time I log in, I see the same thing: players flying in circles around the hubs with nothing meaningful to do. There’s no sense of progression anymore, no excitement — just repetition. The game feels stagnant, and watching the community slowly drift away has been depressing.

I even tried to rally some people to switch over to other games, because it was painful seeing so many of us just wasting time doing the same nothing. But the reality is simple: STO hasn’t been giving us much reason to stay.

Then I look at games like No Man’s Sky, and the difference is night and day. Exploration, creativity, real updates that matter — things that actually make you want to log in and play. Even Starfield, despite its flaws, at least tries to deliver on that big space experience.

At this point, I’m done with Star Trek Online. I won’t be going back, and honestly, I understand why so many people have already left. The game just doesn’t hold up anymore, and it’s sad to admit that after all this time.

But sometimes, you’ve got to move on — and I’d rather spend my time in worlds that still feel alive.

Spotter isn't worth talking to. They are either a bot or some mentally ill 80 year old that only knows how to talk the way DT tweets. They aren't gonna give a real answer.

For anyone else's sake I did waste the time following both of spotters suggestions just to be safe as, as expected, there is exactly zero mention or information about how power/build respec systems work, so the question remains open.

Killed Elite:Dangerous for me.

ED still Kills NMS for me. And Star Citizen kills both NMS and ED with a flick of its wrist.

If you want clowns you have to say it more explicitly. XD

It just feels weird since the whole game you're playing an ARPG and then you do trials and suddenly you're playing a platformer. They should give everyone a Mario costume while doing trials and every time you dodge roll your character yells "YAHOO"
