Those "raging" are thoroughly pissed off and with reasons by Paradox decisions along the past years and across several franchises. It is perfectly fine to let their feelings out. And even if they are not willing to buy/bite it, they would like to have these advertised "fixes".

It is their right as a consumer.

You missed the point. We ALL get pissed off with someone or something from time to time but most normal folks just resolve the issue one way or another and move on with their lives. I have no objections to folks being pee'd off with Paradox. That's what Steam boards are for - for the customer to discuss what they like/dislike and what they want.

However, I think almost all of us would agree that making it your life mission to complain about it for days, weeks, months and even years after is not a healthy thing to do. Keeping rage alive is not ever sensible or healthy.

So what if Paradox "has been dodgy since it became a private company with share holders to satisfy instead of their customers?" Oh no! Well, just go and play Hooded Horse games instead. The point is to be HAPPY and not miserable or angry. Life will find ways to make you miserable or angry often enough without you needing to go searching for it.

The game has been dead for years now. It's not getting fixed and nobody was expecting that to happen. But they're decided to relaunch the game for future development. Is that absolutely the most charitable thing they could have done for their community? LOL, of course it isn't but it's a business and they are doing this because they want to make money. Even communists want to make money.

What you need is all ready in your build menu. Look to very left. It's there.

Someone already explained it. The old games didn't have voiceovers, so people couldn't compare the dialogues in both languages while playing those games.

Plus, old games don't give you an option to switch between text languages. People would have to purchase two versions of the game and play them back to back to compare the dialogue and I guess nobody did that.

The presence of Japanese voice over still doesn't mean that most people would be able to compare it, because most people don't speak Japanese.

If they do and don't like what XSEED did, then they really should just play in Japanese and stop bashing XSEED's work.

I wish they had provided XSEED's localisation as an option, the way they provide 3 different music options. They do not and so I am stuck with this GungHo version that reads like someone ran it through Google Translate and barely edited anything.

The devs delivered us a fantastic game, they earned a way to live their life like we all desire, working at a relaxed pace on a great project, adding to it, refining it, not burning themselves out.
What are you all mad about exactly? Is it jealousy? It sure sounds like it to me. Learn to appreciate what you get.

Well, it's not like we can change anything in terms of development speed. The devs had full support from the majority of the community after the release. A lot of people understand that it was a hard push, and the main developer probably burned out trying to finish the game for EA. If they took a year-long sabbatical, the community would likely be fine with it.

If they had hired someone new and moved into management roles, progress might have been a bit slow, but still cool - and just a couple of programmers should’ve been enough in that case.

The whole game was essentially developed from scratch by one guy over the course of a couple of years. Now, it takes him years to release a minor to average patch. It’s not a slow pace for one person - but it's ten times slower than his initial work (which is understandable), and painfully slow for a multi-million dollar business.

They decided to work in their free time, without breaking a sweat, to save money and avoid the hassle of building a dev team - despite a lot of people still waiting for the game to be finished. It’s not what they promised, but again, it’s understandable. They promised the initial speed, and no one would keep running a marathon for another year through blood and tears if they can just rest on the beach - even if they did promise it.

Their approach is obviously one way to do things. But just as the community can’t affect their decisions, they can’t affect the community’s decision to call them greedy and slow.

The community doesnt call the devs greedy and slow. Majority of the people are happy to get free updates time and again for an 8$ game that already gave more than its money's worth and didnt stop there. Jealous greedy players who are hell bent to be the best dopamine junkie are the ones who cannot regulate their happiness hormone and want more updates, faster pacing, ease biomes and newer content. They want the game to end fast to move to the next camp and restart over again.

If not, what's the big rush to get to 1.0?

What's greedy and slow if you want to take time and as much time off as you want to think the path ahead well? Are you and whiners like you not the problem of the current gaming market hell bent on making it another version of tiktok?

i most play for downloading cosmetic mods or playing with frens,
I dont see real reason to stress online over some points or winning against randoms,
get some frens or join a tekken discord and enjoy the matches while speaking with someone, makes it more enjoyable.

Why post on Discord if the game is sold on Steam? I do not use Discord, and I never will. This company is really stupid.

This makes exactly ZERO sense. But ok.

It made PERFECT sense. It meant that your hardware was wasted on you because you couldn't perceive the still very present and very real issues with Stalker. Clearly you aren't particularly fussy or attentive to such things so you might as well save the cash and have more middling hardware based on this.
