steam numbers says its dropping 1600 players 3 years ago to around 600 players atm I think the game mods killed it nothing more fun than playing super animal drunk after counter-strike but all my friends are now banned for swearing in chat lol

Hair bones by default repel each other, so if they are too close together they get crazy. I have a few simple tips I learned over a few years.

1. Make hair groups with multiple strands. If you make every single one a single bone your model will be laggy and your hair will likely become a disaster. Group up close by hair into one bone. I use very thick hair settings (3 width, 6 thickness in the back most of the time) and I still use 3 to 5 hairs in a patch to make a bone group.

2.Pick a hair in that group and set it as the axis. Particularly the closest to the center of the group or the closest to the scalp. Centering it in the group tends to have concerning outcomes. If you have to, make a guide hair as thin and flat as possible to hide and set that as the axis. This is helpful on really long ponytails or braids to keep their shape consistent.

Personally I'm fine with .400 for stiffness. I like to add .100 for gravity so the hair isn't anti gravity, but mostly holds shape when standing upright.

If you prefer, you can do it in blender, but remember to uncheck the "Combine hair mesh" option before you export your .vrm, otherwise weight painting will be a nightmare.

So, I went and got it even though I swore I'd never buy into an EA game again. :)
Just made my first delivery from An'Ankh to the Academy, took me just above an hour.

Got stuck midway on an island (Neverdin or somesuch), with the wind backwards towards the island and my ship sideways snugged against the shores. Every time I pushed the dang thing it just got stuck again. Took me ages to get out and nearly missed my ship as it finally took off without me.
NOT RELAXING! But quite fun, in retrospect.
In SoT, there is no such thing as wind pushing ships backwards, so I was ambushed by that.

It will take some time getting used to this after 600 hours in SoT and the mechanics from there.

I think it has a super potential. I did miss some relaxing music ingame but that might be further down the dev roadmap, if even that? Understandable that's not a thing yet.
Also, damage models, but I read that is being developed.
Anyways, I had fun with it and I'll keep it. :) Also gotta support the devs on such a niche market!

Fix the friendly insect's AI; it keeps getting in the player's way, preventing us from collecting items on the ground or shooting arrows or attacking enemies. It's really annoying.

That said, the game definitly needs some good AA cause it looks nice when downscaling it from virtual desktop 2160p down to my 1080p monitor but it would be nice to not heat up my room while doing so.

There is clearly logic to the game, otherwise it would be an unpredictable chaos. The logic is the computer code. If logic didn't exist, then the code wouldn't even compile.

Saying pressure and headlift mean the same thing is assuming Satisfactory uses the term "headlift" correctly, which it does not. Headlift in this game is surely just a number assigned to chunks indicating how high the chunk can go.

Saying the game has no basis in physics means the game should look and behave like nothing we've ever seen before. Yet, I walk around in Satisfactory like I'd expect to walk around on Earth. The game is a simulation based upon physics we understand.

If fluid dynamics in Satisfactory were truly unpredictable, then no one would be able to consistently have 100% efficient factories using liquids.

should have added some new achievements with this update, kinda dont even want to re-install because there's nothing "new" to unlock achievement wise.
