I get 60fps normal vanilla gameplay. (RTX 4070).

I get over 100fps with FPS mod. but that's been a few years ago last time I tested.

But you only need 28fps. I mean what do you need more fps on an ant farm game that crawls anyway. There's no fast action in this game.

I refuse to believe you get 60FPS vanilla in a moderate city. This game barely likes to give me 45FPS in a 5000 pop city. I also have a 4070. The game is wildly unoptimized in the graphics department, that's why it has aliasing out the ass no matter what you do unless you force it to run at 2-4x resolution with dynamic resolution.

Also, I want 60FPS because it looks smoother. It's not about twitch reflexes. I hate the "It's not a fast paced game why do you care about FPS" argument. I care about FPS because soap operas look worse than 60FPS video games from 1996, and in 2025, I should be able to have 60FPS video games.

I don't play Sims 4 that often, but I run it very briefly every day to make sure it's still working. I have no other game that I need to check every day.

I've watched this game on a stream where the user is advanced, so to me it looks really confusing and complicated. As a new player before I buy, is it user friendly and guides you at the start?

You don't use destroyers. Ever. Either go with
- Corvettes full of missiles AND the long range combat computer AND afterburners.
- Cruisers full of disruptors

Interesting. Destroyer is the best ship I've researched yet.
