can I get the game for free?

i forgor what chamber it is but its the one where there's one cube two buttons and without a second cube or being able to shoot the orange portal its seemingly impossible??? need help :(

I know I'm late to the party, but there's actually a document (collectable) that explains that "Doctor Dominguez" isn't a name, but a title for the leader of Trinity. His real name is Amaru, he grew up in Paititi (Hidden City). Trinity exists even B.C. Trinity was on the eyes of Amaru for a while because of how good his skills are. He didn't want, but joined the Trinity in the exchange to feed his people from the famin. Eventually he became the leader of the Trinity for being a good successor from the previous Doctor Dominguez (Pedro Dominguez if I'm not mistaken). I can explain this to you after reading the 336 collectables before finishing the game, and it was worth it

For a while I was also confused who Amaru and Doctor Dominguez actually were, so I really don't blame you for thinking like that, the game doesn't explain very clear. It only explains in one or two lines and that's it

Wanting the fights to take half an hour is stupid. Fights should be quick. Long fights are boring and stupid.

Monster hunter community always with the worst opinions.

You don't need to hunt those 9*. it's completely optional.

Some people like longer hunts. At least, now there is something for everybody.

Define long.
The way you talk about the game and how you want to show it off portrait to people that you've been playing for thousand of hours. If that's the case you shouldn't be finishing 9* hunts with more than 5~7 minutes.

What mods have you installed, including any you subsequently deleted or disable?

FWIW I am having the same issue. Tried various fixes like OP. I've also never had mods installed on this game.

The game was playable for me at one point. I suspect the issue could be related to Nvidia drivers, as I started having issues with multiple games a few months ago after a driver update.

I generally have been running this game maxed out at 1080p with a stable 60fps however this stage in particular has really inconsistent performance which degrades further as you progress towards the top of the theater OR play for too long (+30 mins).

This issue has also been posted on reddit as well by someone else about 3 months ago. For them, the game eventually started utilising 40GB of RAM causing a crash.

Are the developers aware of this issue and is there any fix on the way?

i have the same problem in this area i have more fps drops

I've finished the game since I posted this. The fps drops get more frequent and worsen as you reach the final level and bossfights. Nothing seemed to help alleviate the stutter so I eventually just bore through it; It was not an enjoyable experience and thus I will not likely be restarting in NG+ due to this reason.

Tried restarting, verifying integrity, launching as admin etc. PC meets mimimum req. Any suggestions?

I'm kind of thinking of picking this up since I like the art and Mon-Hun style combat, but hearing that co-op is basically dead is a bit of a hard sell... 2k players for this weekend's 24hr peak ... I might give it the ol' 2 hour playtest...
