The games uses a lot of cpu on menu that wasnt there on last playtests. Could be the anticheat or something.

Hi devs! I'd like to ask if you have seen how Command & Conquer was remastered? Battle Realms: Zen Edition or the two Stronghold Definitive Editions? That’s how you remaster an RTS game. Respecting the original. Yes, while optimizing for modern systems. No performance issues. This? Not quite. Even with all settings turned off or set to low, I still can’t maintain a stable 120 FPS on a 120 Hz display.

Do I seriously need an RTX 5090 just to hold 120 FPS in this? My secondary rig handles Crysis 3 Remastered effortlessly even with a mix of high and medium settings, as well as when NVIDIA DLSS is set to Quality.

Please take performance seriously if there will be an upcoming hotfix or patch this week. A remaster should run better, not worse.

I’m torn between the PC and Switch2 versions, and I don’t think this game warrants a double dip.

On the PC side, the Steam version would let me enjoy 4K resolution at 120fps on my main rig. I could also play it on my Steam Deck, which is already docked to my TV alongside my Switch2 for a Switch‑like setup. I’m hoping for performance and resolution close to the Switch2. From what I’ve heard, 1080p or 1440p, or even upscaled 4K at 60fps, shouldn’t be too taxing on the Deck. Plus, there’s the option of trainer support through WeMod if the grind ever starts feeling more like a chore than a charm.

On the Switch2 side, it runs at 1440p docked and 60fps “good enough,” I suppose. Lounging in bed or on the couch with the TV has its appeal, but compared to the PC version it’s a little underwhelming. Not a dealbreaker, just less exciting. Still, my Switch2 has been feeling neglected, and part of me wants to throw it a bone just to justify owning it.
In the end, PC wins, that Desktop‑and‑Deck combo really nails the best of both worlds. Sorry, Switch2… Pokémon Legends will arrive soon enough, and then you’ll get your moment.

man, the PC really spoiled people. like why do people dislike the switch 2 so much? like... its ridiculous. and the fact so many people have the steam deck even tho you have a PC is mind boggling. because i don't even have one.

I really don't think people dislike or are hating on the switch 2. it's a totally overblown concept, at worst people are just impatient for more exclusives to start trickling in because they WANT a reason to use it. I've got a steam deck too, but all things being equal the switch 2 is such a big step up from the 1 that I'd much rather buy a game for the switch than PC, unless it's something I really wanna mod.
