I just wanted to write this and say thank you guys for all your hard work from the last few years, this is one the best beatem ups ive ever played, i hope this game blows up because currently, *well likely until silksong releases* this is my indie game of the year.

you could go a very aggressive route -> alter the rights of the cef folder, where steamwebhelper.exe is located.. Deny "user" and "system" (make sure you have an account with adminrights) and keep the "administrator". Keep and mind that you wont be albe to do much with Steam without the browser stuff.
Also youll need to start any game from its folder and correct executable, or via taskbar icon, but only the last 5 played ones.

I wont go too far into details, as how to do via windows/linux, as this may harm your steam installation, deinstall/revert the right management/reinstall would be revert this anyways...

That's true and if you look in the last few pages. Trolls start personal attacks because they couldn't make a good debate. Anyone try to refute the genocide of straight white men, they get shutdown in a hurry. This why you and the community need to be proactive into reporting those who personal attacks, even call user out is same as violating no disrespecting and unproductive rules at steam.

By the way, I think the user that does personal attacks is a loon and should be logged off since that user cannot handle it. A good debater would refute the point correctly if they had any.

As I always say: everything is Woke today. Wokeness lives rent free in your mind to the point that it infected your view on the world. Most stuff released ages ago that were considered "the future" would be considered woke nowadays. I feel sorry for people like you and I'm thankful to actually be able to enjoy the world and what it has to offer. Must be tough. Yeah you mentioned Gportal, that's your issue. Server hardware from 3rd party service providers isn't always top end hardware like a datacenter from Google or Amazon.

It only works in Hide and Seek Gamemode thats it
